Postnatal Yoga TIps

Congratulations on the birth of your child! Kundalini Yoga is one of the best things you can do to help rejuvenate and heal the body in a very healthy and integrated way after childbirth. Even just 10-20 minutes at a time will help keep the hormones in check and balanced and start to reinstate tone in the abdominal walls and birth muscles, while keeping you feeling energized and happy!

We think it is a great idea to start doing some simple Kundalini Yoga exercises/breathing exercises/meditation now. If you have had a C-section, please be careful not to do any twisting or anything that could pull on stitches (we have some posts re: C section-after care in this rchive).

We suggest you try doing the upper body exercises as well as the breathing exercises and meditations on either Yoga Quick Fixes and/or Yoga House Call DVD.

The Breathing and Meditation DVD which is scheduled for release January 2010 will be very helpful as well.
