    This is Kundalini Yoga with Ana and Ravi! different to other forms of yoga that you may have experienced! I had practiced Hatha yoga (a beautiful practice) for over a year before I discovered Kundalini Yoga. I soon realised that Kundalini was what I had been waiting for, I resonate with it completely and have been working regularly in the mornings with Kundalini Yoga for over a year....I look forward to it every day!

    So on with the review.

    The production of the DVD is of high quality. The setting is visually pleasing with images of the sea and greenery in the background, there is a buddha, lotus flowers and nice spacious area where Ana demonstrates the class. The sound quality is good and the music uplifting and inspiring......I like it.

    You have many options with this DVD and this includes a 'Breath Primer' that you will find in the Chapter selections, this is especially good if you are new to Kundalini Yoga as you will be taught the long deep breathing and the 'breath of fire' which are used during the class.

    You can design your own workout, which is great if you are restricted by time etc, with the 'matrix' menu options. If you don't know how to use the 'matrix' then there is a tutorial section which you access from the main menu. Ana and Ravi have prepared some 'pre sets' that you can work with which are: Getting Started 56 mins, Intermediate workout 54 mins, Quick uplift 40 mins, Tranformer express 40 mins, Transformer express 35 mins. Or you can play the DVD through which is another great option!

    Start the Class via 'Tune in' chanting the mantra 'Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo' three times to some lovely music..nice 2.00

    Standing with legs apart on balls of feet and arms outstretched with hands in fists thumbs pointing out. Move thumbs forward, middle, back...repeating with Breath of fire
    Same postition as above move thumbs to touch the shoulders and then stretch arms out working with the breath
    Sit in easy pose and work with spine flex variations
    Sit in easy pose work with arms to shoulders whilst chanting the mantra 'Har'
    Lie on back and relax
    Lie on back raise heels off the floor with long deep breathing (modification given)

    Easy pose, hands interlaced with thumbs touching above head in a mudra, long deep breathing

    Easy pose with hands in rigid claws, arms bent at elbows and circle the hands at temple level. Breath in through puckered lips and out through the nose. Breath long and smooth. This was absoulutely wonderful, I didn't think that I would be able to keep going but somehow my arms began to feel lighter and I went on...it was just wonderful!
    Easy pose hands interlaced with thumbs meeting and above the head, inhale through puckered lips and exhale through the nose............beautiful, blissful!

    Deep Relaxation, lying down on back and guided by Ravi into a gorgeous deep relaxation!

    Beautiful Gobinday Chant
    Easy pose with palms over each other at sternum level. To energise our lives! Really uplifting! I totally enjoyed this.

    Closing Prayer and Tune out via mantra 'Sat Nam' to end the Class.

    There is an extra option for you that you can add into the class before ending class with the 'Closing Prayer and Tune out' and that is the
    'Purify your Past' meditation:
    Easy pose, palms together and base of palms in contact with the navel througout - moving the palms up and down quite quickly.

    Wow...bliss, energy, calm, radiance............transformed! yes!

    Ana and Ravi give clear instruction and encourage you throughout as well as giving additional information about the benefits of doing this amazing class. Ana demonstrates beautifully. I am so comfortable with their way of teaching which I find to be gentle and inspiring. This DVD is a favourite and I will be rotating it often throughout my practice in the week.
